The short answer

Harrogate Christmas & Gift 2027 takes place at Harrogate Convention Centre from Sunday 10 to Wednesday 13 January 2027, and the easiest way to do it is to stay in central Harrogate and walk to the halls. For a buying trip of two nights or more, a serviced apartment or townhouse gives you space to review orders, a kitchen for early starts and room for colleagues. Book your stay as soon as your dates are set, as January is a busy month for shows in town.

Harrogate Christmas & Gift 2027 at a glance

Described by its organiser as the UK’s leading festive trade show, the event fills the exhibition halls at Harrogate Convention Centre, Kings Road, HG1 5LA. It brings together festive collections and year-round gift lines, from home décor, stationery and greetings to food gifting, home fragrance and seasonal merchandise. Familiar names such as Joe Davies, Floralsilk and Widdop & Co are joined in 2027 by new exhibitors including Puckator, Gem Imports, ArtiTree and Fargo. It is aimed at independent gift shops, garden centres, department stores and visitor attractions.

Opening times and registering

The show is open from 9.00am to 6.00pm each day, with a 4.00pm close on Wednesday 13 January. It is open to the trade only, and you register in advance through the Register to Visit link on the official Harrogate Christmas & Gift website. The same site has an exhibitor, product and brand search and hall plans, so you can build a list of stands and plan your route hall by hall. The Convention Centre and the Royal Hall take card and contactless payments only, which keeps things quick at the cafés.

Getting to Harrogate

  • By train – Harrogate station is about a seven-minute walk from the halls. LNER runs four direct trains a day from London King’s Cross, taking around 2 hours 46 minutes. Our guide to arriving by train helps you get your bearings.
  • By air – Leeds Bradford Airport is about 12 miles away, roughly 20 minutes by car, and the hourly A2 bus takes around 31 minutes.
  • By car – use HG1 2HR for the Convention Centre car park, handy if you are bringing samples or catalogues.

Where to stay

Anywhere in central Harrogate keeps you within walking distance of the halls, the Royal Hall and the town’s restaurants. Our guide to Harrogate Convention Centre accommodation compares the best areas in more detail. For a buying team, one larger home is often more sociable and better value than several hotel rooms, with a table to go through order sheets together at the end of the day. Exhibitors staying for the full four days, plus build-up, will appreciate a kitchen, space to spread out and a quiet base away from the show floor.

Evenings in Harrogate

At the 2026 show the organiser hosted a party night in the Royal Hall on the Monday evening, with music, free drinks and food, open to exhibitors and visitors alike. Details for 2027 will be announced on the show website. On other nights, good restaurants and pubs are a few minutes’ walk from the halls; see our guide to where to eat in Harrogate for our favourites, or unwind after a day on your feet at the Turkish Baths.

Making the most of the show

  • Book your key supplier appointments for Sunday to Tuesday, and use Wednesday’s shorter day for a final look round.
  • Wear comfortable shoes, as there is plenty of ground to cover across the halls.
  • If you have a free morning, a coffee in the Montpellier Quarter is a lovely start before the doors open.
