The short answer
Knit and Stitch Harrogate 2026 runs from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November at Harrogate Convention Centre. Book your day and any workshops online, then stay centrally so you can stroll to the halls and drop your purchases back at your base. For a group of friends or a two-day visit, a serviced apartment or townhouse gives you space to unwind, a kitchen and room for all those new supplies.
Knit + Stitch, formerly The Knitting & Stitching Show, is organised by Immediate Live and brings together more than 150 textile craft brands, over 200 hands-on workshops, a Live Stage and curated textile art galleries. Whether you knit, sew, quilt or embroider, it's a wonderful few days. This guide covers the practical side, from tickets to travel, where to stay and what to do afterwards.
Dates and opening times
The show fills the Exhibition Halls at Harrogate Convention Centre, Kings Road (HG1 5LA). The organiser lists these hours:
- Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 November – 10am to 5.30pm
- Sunday 22 November – 10am to 4pm
The textile galleries are included in your ticket, so allow plenty of time to browse them alongside the stalls. The Live Stage timetable is on the show website, which makes it easy to plan your day around the talks and demonstrations you most want to see.
Knit and Stitch Harrogate tickets
Tickets are sold through the organiser's Knit + Stitch website. At general release pricing, an adult ticket is £19.95 plus fees, rising to £28 on the door, and there are concession, child (18 and under) and VIP options too. Afternoon tickets give entry from 2pm, which suits anyone arriving on the day. A limited number of two-day tickets are available at general release pricing only, which is perfect if you're staying over.
Thursday and Friday have capacity limits, so tickets for those days are date-specific and it's best to choose your day when you book. Workshops are also booked through the online box office, so reserve your classes at the same time.
On the day
- Paying – the show's merchandise and workshop desks are cashless, and the venue takes card and contactless, so a bank card or phone is all you need.
- Bags and coats – there's a cloakroom at the entrance to Hall M, at £3 per item. Staying nearby means you can simply pop purchases back to your apartment.
- Bring a tote – a spare bag makes carrying fabric and yarn much easier.
Getting here
- By train – Harrogate station is about a seven-minute walk from the venue. LNER runs four direct trains a day from London King's Cross, taking around 2 hours 46 minutes. Our guide to arriving by train helps you get your bearings.
- By air – Leeds Bradford Airport is about 12 miles away, roughly 20 minutes by car, and the hourly A2 bus takes around 31 minutes.
- By car – the Convention Centre car park (HG1 2HR) has around 158 spaces, and the Jubilee and Victoria car parks add roughly 1,200 more within a short walk. Jubilee is the closest to the Royal Hall.
