The Drifters at the Royal Hall

The Drifters are touring the UK and will play the Royal Hall in Harrogate on Thursday 21 January 2027. The set draws on the group's best-known songs, including Saturday Night at the Movies, You're More Than A Number, Come on Over to My Place, Under the Boardwalk and Kissin' In The Back Row. The current tour runs under Tina Treadwell, whose parents, George and Faye Treadwell, founded the group. The show is aimed at the general public and suits anyone who knows the 1960s and 70s soul and pop catalogue.

Date and start time

The performance is on Thursday 21 January 2027 and starts at 7.30pm, according to Harrogate Theatre's event page. We could not find a published door time, so check your ticket confirmation closer to the date.

Tickets and age guidance

This is a Harrogate Theatre event, so tickets come from Harrogate Theatre. Prices run from £31 to £74, and the top price is for a box that seats two. The show is recommended for ages 14 and over, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The box office is on 01423 502116 or at boxoffice@harrogatetheatre.co.uk. The venue only accepts card and contactless payments. For wheelchair and companion bookings, phone the box office directly.

Getting there

Harrogate station is about a 10-minute walk from the Convention Centre. LNER runs direct trains to and from London King's Cross roughly hourly, and Leeds is about 35 minutes away. Leeds Bradford Airport is about 30 minutes by taxi. If you drive, the Convention Centre lists more than 1,200 parking spaces in the centre of town. Many of our apartments and townhouses are a short walk from the Royal Hall, so you can leave the car parked and walk to the show.

Booking early

January is a quieter month for visitors, but a Thursday-night concert still fills rooms near the Royal Hall. If you are coming from further afield, it helps to sort tickets and a place to stay together. Our apartments suit couples, friends travelling as a group and families, and the kitchens are handy if you want a quiet breakfast before heading home.

After the show

Harrogate has plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the Royal Hall, so a late supper or a drink after the finale is easy to arrange. Book a table ahead for a concert night. If you are staying on for the Friday, the Turkish Baths are a relaxed way to spend the morning. We are a local family-run company, and if you would like to stay with us for the weekend, we are happy to help you choose the right apartment or townhouse.
