Russell Watson: The Majestic Voice Tour
Tenor Russell Watson plays the Royal Hall on Wednesday 6 October 2027, 7.30pm, with a live orchestral ensemble. Tickets run from £40 to £83 through Harrogate Theatre.
What it is and who goes
Russell Watson, the Salford-born tenor and four-time Classical BRIT Award winner, brings his 2027 UK theatre tour to Harrogate's Royal Hall. The Convention Centre lists it as The Majestic Voice Tour. Harrogate Theatre and the artist's own site call the same tour The Power of the Voice, so you may see either name. The programme is built around operatic favourites such as Nessun Dorma and O Sole Mio, West End songs and pop-classical arrangements. A live orchestral ensemble plays with him. It is a public concert, and Harrogate Theatre recommends it for ages 14 and over, with under 16s accompanied by an adult.

Getting there
Harrogate railway station is about a 10-minute walk from the Convention Centre, and the Royal Hall is beside it. LNER runs direct trains to London King's Cross roughly hourly. Leeds is about 35 minutes by train, and Leeds Bradford Airport is about 30 minutes away by taxi. If you drive, the Convention Centre lists more than 1,200 parking spaces in the centre of town.
Booking early
This is one of several Yorkshire dates on the tour, and early-autumn weekdays in Harrogate can be busy with conferences. Booking tickets and somewhere to stay well ahead gives you more choice, particularly if you want the meet and greet or a particular seat.
Staying with us
Short Stay Harrogate is a local family-run company. We have serviced apartments and townhouses across central Harrogate, many a short walk from the Royal Hall. An apartment suits a group or family travelling together, because you get a kitchen and living space and can head back after the concert in your own time rather than watching the clock for a last train.
After the concert
The show starts at 7.30pm, so plan dinner either before the concert or afterwards. Many restaurants and bars in the town centre are within an easy walk of the Royal Hall. It is worth booking a table in advance on a concert night. If you stay over, the Turkish Baths are a short walk away and make a calm start to Thursday morning. Check their session times before you plan around them.
