What it is and who goes
Mo Gilligan: The Mo You Know is a stand-up comedy show by the triple BAFTA-winning comedian. It is part of a long world tour, and Harrogate's Royal Hall hosts the date in the north of England on 18 February 2027. His earlier tour was filmed as the Netflix special Momentum. The show is presented by Live Nation and UTC. Harrogate Theatre handles ticketing for this date. It is open to the public, and the venue recommends it for ages 16 and over.
Dates and times
There is a single performance on Thursday 18 February 2027, starting at 8pm at the Royal Hall on Ripon Road. The venue has not published a doors time. Comedy listings for the tour suggest doors open about half an hour before the start, so check your ticket or confirmation email nearer the date.
For visitors
Tickets cost between £27.50 and £59. The top price is for a box that seats two, and boxes may have a restricted view. Book through Harrogate Theatre online, by email at boxoffice@harrogatetheatre.co.uk or by phone on 01423 502116. The box office is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Wheelchair and companion bookings should go through the box office directly. The Royal Hall and Harrogate Convention Centre take card and contactless payments only, so leave the cash at home.
Getting there
The Royal Hall is part of the Harrogate Convention Centre complex, in the middle of town. Harrogate station is about a 10-minute walk away. LNER runs direct trains to London King's Cross roughly hourly. Leeds is about 35 minutes by train, and Leeds Bradford Airport is about 30 minutes away by taxi. If you drive, the venue says more than 1,200 parking spaces are available in the town centre. Leave a little extra time on a winter evening.
Booking early
This is one of only a few Yorkshire dates on a busy tour, and the Royal Hall has a limited number of seats. Book your tickets first, then sort out where to stay. Harrogate hotels and apartments can fill quickly when a big show is on, particularly on a Thursday night when people make a weekend of it.
Where to stay
Short Stay Harrogate is a family-run company with serviced apartments and townhouses across central Harrogate. Many are a short walk from the Convention Centre and the Royal Hall. An apartment suits a group, because you get a kitchen, more space and somewhere to relax before or after the show. Staying the night also means you can leave the car and avoid a late drive home.
After the show
The show starts at 8pm, so plan dinner beforehand or a late supper afterwards. Harrogate has plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the venue, and many of them keep serving after the show. If you are staying overnight, the Turkish Baths are a good way to ease into Friday morning.
