What the show is
Layton Live is a touring stage show by Layton Williams, who won an Olivier Award for Titanique and was nominated for a Tony for the Broadway transfer. It marks 20 years since his professional stage debut as Billy Elliot. The programme draws on that career, with Cabaret, Hairspray, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Bad Education and Strictly Come Dancing all named in the billing. He is joined by a company of dancers and live musicians. The tour is promoted by Fiery Entertainment, and the Harrogate date is sold through Harrogate Theatre.
