What's on in Harrogate
Knit + Stitch
Knit + Stitch returns to Harrogate Convention Centre 19–22 November 2026 with 150+ craft suppliers, workshops and textile galleries. Open to all.
What Knit + Stitch is and who goes
Knit + Stitch, the show formerly called The Knitting & Stitching Show, takes over the Exhibition Halls at Harrogate Convention Centre from Thursday 19 to Sunday 22 November 2026. It is a public consumer show, run by Immediate Live, for people who knit, crochet, sew, quilt, embroider or simply like making things. The organiser says it draws over 17,000 visitors to Harrogate each year, from hobbyists to textile artists, teachers and students.
There are more than 150 suppliers selling yarn, fabric, beads, patterns, kits, haberdashery and sewing machines. Alongside the shopping, expect workshops, free demonstrations, a live stage, a Knit vs Stitch catwalk, a graduate showcase and textile art galleries, including a Winning Quilts Gallery.
Dates and opening times
The show is open Thursday to Saturday from 10am to 5.30pm, and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm. Afternoon tickets give entry from 2pm. VIP ticket holders can use the VIP lounge from 9.30am, with the show floor opening at 10am for everyone.
For exhibitors and teaching staff staying all week
If you are trading or teaching across all four days, a self-catering apartment or townhouse can suit you better than a hotel room. You get a kitchen for early breakfasts, space to sort stock or kits, and a front door you can come and go through after a long day on your feet. Stand and tutor applications go through the organiser's website. We are happy to talk through longer stays and multiple bedrooms for a team.
For visitors
Adult one-day tickets are listed at £24.20 including the booking fee on general release, with concessions at £22.20 and child tickets (18 and under) at £12.75. Two-day and afternoon tickets are also available, as are VIP packages and group rates for ten or more. Under 5s do not need a ticket. Merchandise and workshop desks take card and contactless payments only, and the Convention Centre itself does the same. Some exhibitors still accept cash. A cloakroom is available at £3 per item, so travelling light is sensible if you plan to buy a lot of yarn.
Getting to Harrogate
Harrogate station is about a 10-minute walk from the Convention Centre. LNER runs direct trains from London King's Cross roughly hourly, and Leeds is around 35 minutes away. Leeds Bradford Airport is about 30 minutes by taxi. If you drive, the Jubilee car park is the closest to the Royal Hall and the Yorkshire entrances, and the venue's own car park fills up quickly.
Book early
General release ticket prices run to Sunday 8 November, after which they rise, and workshops and VIP places can sell out. Thursday and Friday tickets cannot be swapped for other days. Mid-November is a busy week in town, so it is worth reserving accommodation at the same time as your tickets. Many of our apartments and townhouses are a short walk from the Convention Centre and the Royal Hall, so you can drop bags and go back to your door at the end of the day.
After the show
Once the halls close, central Harrogate is close at hand for dinner and a drink, and the Turkish Baths are a good way to rest tired shoulders and hands. If you are staying with us, you can return to your own kitchen and sofa to go through what you bought.
