Johns' Boys Welsh Male Voice Choir
Welsh male voice choir Johns' Boys play Harrogate's Royal Hall on Saturday 8 May 2027 at 7.30pm, part of their 2027 UK and Ireland tour. Tickets £27–£75.
What the evening is
Johns' Boys is a Welsh male voice choir from Rhos, near Wrexham, led by artistic director Aled Phillips. The choir won the Choir of the World title at the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in 2019. It has since appeared on Britain's Got Talent, The Royal Variety Performance and the Last Night of the Proms. The Harrogate concert is one date on its 2027 UK and Ireland tour, which also takes in cathedrals and concert halls in Wells, Liverpool, Dublin, Belfast and Swansea. The programme is described as a mix of Welsh favourites, anthems, ballads and popular classics. It suits choral music fans and anyone curious about the choir after seeing it on television.
