What the fair is and who goes

Harrogate International Nursery Fair is a three-day trade show for the baby and nursery industry, held at Harrogate Convention Centre. The organisers describe it as the UK's only dedicated nursery trade show. Product areas run from pregnancy and baby goods to wheeled goods, infant car seats, nursery furniture, pre-school toys and gifts, for children from birth to four years.

It is aimed at retailers and buyers, and the organisers say it also draws buyers from Europe and beyond. This year includes a New Brands Zone in Hall C for start-ups and smaller companies. The halls in use are A, B, C and M.

Dates and opening times

The fair runs from Sunday 18 to Tuesday 20 October 2026. It is open 9.30am to 5.30pm on Sunday and Monday, and 9.30am to 4.00pm on Tuesday. On Sunday evening, Hall M stays open until 8pm while exhibitors host opening-night parties.

For exhibitors staying all week

With three trading days and a busy Sunday evening, many exhibitors and their teams stay in town for several nights. Our serviced apartments and townhouses are self-contained, so a team can share one address and keep its own hours. Many are a short walk from the Convention Centre, which helps with early starts and with carrying samples. If you are travelling with a larger team, tell us how many people you have when you enquire and we will suggest the best fit.

For visitors and buyers

The fair is open only to the trade and associated press. Visitors need to register through the organiser's website before they come. The venue accepts card and contactless payments only, so do not count on paying in cash. The organiser's site has a hall plan, an exhibitor and brand search, and a digital show guide, which are worth looking at beforehand to plan your appointments.

Getting there

Harrogate station is about a 10-minute walk from the Convention Centre. LNER runs direct trains to London King's Cross roughly hourly, and Leeds is about 35 minutes away. Leeds Bradford Airport is about 30 minutes by taxi. If you drive, the organiser lists car parks on its site.

Book early

The organiser notes that hotel availability can become limited as the show dates approach. The fair is only days away, so if you still need a bed, get in touch with us soon. We are a local, family-run company and can tell you what we have free across the three nights.

After the fair

Harrogate is easy to enjoy on foot once the halls close. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the town centre for a dinner with customers or colleagues. If you stay an extra night, the Turkish Baths are a good way to wind down after a long day on your feet. If you stay with us, you can walk back to your apartment afterwards.
