What's on in Harrogate
Fascinating Aïda
Fascinating Aïda bring their new show, Bawdacious!, to Harrogate's Royal Hall on Saturday 13 February 2027 at 7.30pm. Tickets run from £39 to £78 via Harrogate Theatre.
What the show is
Fascinating Aïda are a British musical comedy trio: Dillie Keane, Liza Pulman and Adèle Anderson, with Michael Roulston at the piano. Their new show, Bawdacious!, is directed by Paul Foster. It follows their 40th anniversary tour and opened at the Southbank Centre in London in December 2026. Harrogate is one of many dates on a tour that runs through 2027. The audience is general theatre-goers and comedy fans, and many people come in groups of friends.
Date and times
The Harrogate performance is on Saturday 13 February 2027 at the Royal Hall on Ripon Road. The show starts at 7.30pm and runs for about two hours including an interval. Listings elsewhere suggest doors open around half an hour before the start, but check your ticket for the exact time.
For visitors
The performance is open to the public. Harrogate Theatre sells the tickets, and prices are £39 to £78. The top price is for a box that seats two, and boxes may have a restricted view. The recommended age is 14 and over, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The show includes bad language and sexual references. Harrogate Theatre lists captioned, relaxed, audio described and BSL interpreted information on its event page, so check there which options apply to your date. For wheelchair and companion bookings, call the box office on 01423 502116. The Royal Hall and Harrogate Convention Centre take card and contactless payments only, so don't plan on paying with cash.
Getting there
Harrogate station is about a 10-minute walk from the Convention Centre. LNER runs direct trains to London King's Cross roughly every hour. Leeds is about 35 minutes away by train, and Leeds Bradford Airport is about 30 minutes away by taxi. If you drive, the Convention Centre lists more than 1,200 parking spaces in the town centre.
Book early
A Saturday-night show in February can fill Harrogate's hotels and restaurants, especially with the tour passing through nearby towns as well. It makes sense to buy tickets through Harrogate Theatre first, then sort out your room and any pre-theatre table.
Staying with us
Short Stay Harrogate is a family-run company. We have serviced apartments and townhouses across the centre of town, many a short walk from the Royal Hall and Convention Centre. A self-catering base suits a group of friends who want to get ready together, have a drink before the show and take their time afterwards. It also works for couples making a weekend of it.
After the show
The performance should finish at about 9.45pm to 10pm, depending on the length of the interval. That leaves time for a late supper or a drink at one of the town's bars, and many of the restaurants are within an easy walk of the venue. If you are staying the night, the Turkish Baths are a relaxed way to spend Sunday morning. Check their opening times and booking rules before you go.
