What the concert is

Cuore Chamber Orchestra is a professional ensemble founded in Harrogate in 2025 by conductor William Dutton. On Friday 6 November 2026 it opens its second season at the Royal Hall, its home venue. The programme has Grieg's Holberg Suite and the Yorkshire premiere of Michael Berkeley's Meditations for strings. Mozart fills the rest of the evening, with his Symphony No. 29 and his Violin Concerto No. 3. The soloist is Jennifer Pike, who won BBC Young Musician of the Year as a child. The concert is open to the public, and the Royal Hall's Edwardian auditorium is part of the appeal.

Book early

Best seats and boxes tend to go first, and November weekends in Harrogate can be busy. It helps to settle tickets and accommodation together. We are a family-run company with serviced apartments and townhouses close to the Royal Hall. A kitchen and extra space suit couples, friends travelling together, or a family bringing young concert-goers.

After the concert

A 7.30pm start leaves time for an early dinner beforehand, or a late supper afterwards, in the town's many restaurants and wine bars. The next morning, the Turkish Baths are a relaxed way to round off a weekend away. Whichever you choose, a short walk back to your apartment means no late taxi or drive.
