Björn Again
Björn Again, the Australian ABBA tribute show founded in 1988, plays Harrogate's Royal Hall on Sunday 21 March 2027 at 7.30pm. Tickets run from £28 to £96 via Harrogate Theatre.
What Björn Again is
Björn Again is an ABBA tribute show that began in Melbourne in 1988, created by the Australian musician and director Rod Stephen. The company says it has played more than 5,800 shows in 78 countries. The Harrogate date is part of a 2027 UK tour, and Harrogate Theatre is presenting it at the Royal Hall. It will suit anyone who enjoys ABBA's songs and a 1970s-style night out. The Royal Hall is a short walk from many of our apartments and townhouses.
Date and times
The show is on Sunday 21 March 2027 and starts at 7.30pm. We could not find a published doors time, so check with the box office if you want to plan around it. Harrogate Theatre lists tickets at £28 to £96. The top price is for a box that seats two, and some boxes may have a restricted view.
Who it is for
The show is open to the public and ticketed. It is recommended for ages 14+, and anyone under 16 must be accompanied. Harrogate Theatre handles ticketing. You can phone the box office on 01423 502116, which is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Wheelchair and companion bookings are made by phone. The Royal Hall takes card and contactless payments only, so leave the cash at home.
Getting there
Harrogate station is about a 10-minute walk from the Convention Centre. LNER runs direct trains to London King's Cross roughly hourly. Leeds is about 35 minutes away by train, and Leeds Bradford Airport is about 30 minutes by taxi. If you are driving, the Convention Centre says there are over 1,200 parking spaces in the town centre. Because it is a Sunday evening, it is worth checking parking arrangements before you set off.
Booking early
Björn Again plays several Yorkshire and northern venues in the same fortnight, including Halifax, Sheffield and York. Some people will choose their nearest date, but a Sunday night in Harrogate also suits those who want a weekend away. The cheaper seats are usually the first to go. If you are travelling from further afield, booking your tickets and your rooms together saves last-minute stress.
After the show
Harrogate has plenty of places to eat before or after a show, from restaurants to fish and chips, and several bars within walking distance of the Royal Hall. If you stay on until Monday morning, the Turkish Baths are a relaxed way to start the day. Check their opening times for 22 March first.
We are a family-run local company with serviced apartments and townhouses in central Harrogate. They suit couples, groups of friends and families, and many are an easy walk from the Royal Hall. You can cook breakfast, get home late without a taxi and keep your group together in one place. If you would like to stay with us for the show, we are happy to help.
