Bellowhead: Burlesque 20th Anniversary Tour
Bellowhead, the 11-piece English folk band, play Harrogate Convention Centre's Main Auditorium on 13 November 2026, marking 20 years since their debut album Burlesque. Seckou Keita is special guest.
What it is and who goes
Bellowhead are an 11-piece folk band who mix traditional English songs and tunes with a big-band sound. This tour marks 20 years since their first full-length album, Burlesque, which includes London Town, Frog's Legs and Dragon's Teeth, and Rigs of the Time. The band split in 2016 and have reunited for tours in 2022 and 2024. The Harrogate date is part of a national run, and the band's own site lists kora player Seckou Keita and Sons of Town Hall as special guests on the tour. It is a public concert in the Main Auditorium at Harrogate Convention Centre, and Harrogate Theatre is the presenter.
Dates and opening times
The concert is on Friday 13 November 2026. Harrogate Theatre lists a 7.30pm start. The band's tour page and ticket agents show 7pm for Harrogate, so check the time on your ticket before you set off. Door and support-act times had not been published when we last looked.
Tickets and who it suits
Harrogate Theatre sells tickets from £38 to £58. You can book online or call the box office on 01423 502116. The box office is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 4pm. Harrogate Theatre recommends the show for ages 14 and over, and under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. For wheelchair and companion bookings, phone the box office directly. The Convention Centre takes card and contactless payments only, so leave the cash at home.
Getting there
Harrogate station is about a 10-minute walk from the Convention Centre. LNER runs direct trains to London King's Cross roughly hourly, and Leeds is about 35 minutes away by train. Leeds Bradford Airport is about 30 minutes by taxi. If you drive, the centre says there are over 1,200 parking spaces in the middle of town. Many of our apartments and townhouses are a short walk from the Convention Centre, so you can leave the car behind.
Book early
Some venues on this tour have already shown limited availability, and Harrogate hotels fill quickly on a Friday night in November. If you want to stay the night, it is worth sorting accommodation as soon as your tickets are confirmed. A serviced apartment or townhouse suits a group travelling together, with space to relax before or after the show.
After the show
Harrogate has plenty of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance of the centre, so a table for after the concert is easy to arrange. On Saturday morning, the Turkish Baths are a good way to ease into the day. If you are staying with us, we are happy to point you towards places to eat nearby.
